Team Symmetry develops nine Mechanical Engineering students who are driven by real-life insights, who are dedicated to finding great ideas that inspire, and with strong teamwork that will showcase their ability and help them compete.

Our approach

The team has been learning a lot in the months since it entered Shell Eco-Marathon Asia 2011. The competition offers the right field for actual applications where the team members are able to define their attitude and skills.

As an approach to this project, the best solutions that the team could provide require an in depth understanding of the technical aspects of vehicle construction and a willingness to work all the way to the heart of the project to achieve the team’s goal. Through members' diversity, the project is faced with the greatest strength to deliver a well-designed and efficient vehicle.

Our goal

Delivery is where theory meets the real world. The team targets to build a fuel-efficient car, win various off – track awards, and have fun. It is the team’s endeavor to give pride to the institution it represents and to implement the project in any technical environment. Through success measurement criteria and the detailed production plan set by the team, the members are guided effectively to reach its benchmark while ensuring that the whole team is learning.
